Hi, Welcome to my blog! My name is Young. I’m a traditional Korean mom of 4 children. Even though we live in the USA, I feed my family steamed rice and kimchi every day. One day, my friend told me “Faces of our kids are Asian, but their brains are American. We can’t force them Korean things.” Yes, sometimes we need to accept western cultures but I want them to keep some Korean cultures, too.
I enjoy learning English and my kids are learning Korean. I like blogging, cooking, gardening, parenting, collecting photos, and crafts of my kids.
I want to be a good mom, good wife, good teacher, good daughter, good friend, and good person. I believe my kids also value being good human beings, too. My favorite quote “Don’t worry that children never listen to you, worry that they are always watching you!”
I want to share my Korean cooking style, my kids’ daily activity, and my thoughts.
